First of all I would like to quote the reviews I read at the stores. The manual does have a start up procedure and you must also bear in mind that Flysimware is only one developer. Carenado focuses on newer aircraft that are much easier to find and therefore much easier to get real world data and information on, unlike Flysimware which makes vintage aircraft that are much rarer and therefore less accessible making it much more difficult to get real world first hand access to the aircraft. In essence you are comparing apples to oranges when you compare this product to a Carenado product. I am not saying Flysimware makes aircraft as good as a team of five developers. I would also like to add I had a personal friend who is a retired Trans World Airlines 727 pilot and owner of a 195 for 20+ years was instrumental in the development and testing of this aircraft and he was very happy with it.

This is a revised review. My first was based on the initial release of this software. I now have version 1.2, which came out only two days later, and seems to have corrected most ot the things I considered inadequate. I now consider the Flysimware C-195 a strong 4 for anyone interested in powerful tail wheelers with a significant torque effect.

REVISING PREVIOUS REVIEW. More i fly it better i like it. Brother in law has owned 195 with 330 Jacobs for 40 yrs, he flew it and liked it, He believes his real one has more power and more responsive to controls. His at 45 degree bank and stall ,hitting full power will do torque spin. my compuer won't
